Habitat Restoration Service Event

Spend a few hours over MLK weekend giving back to our community with fellow CISVers. We will join the Golden Gate Bird Alliance effort in restoring the habitat for endangered waterfront birds along Oakland’s MLK Shoreline. The extinction of bird species has a significant impact on the planet; birds are crucial for people and the planet to thrive. Tasks will include planting and attending to native plants, and removing invasive non-native plant species and litter.
